Sharon W. Huget
Sharon W. Huget is a Canadian visual artist. Working in acrylic and mixed media, she creates contemporary abstract compositions. Through the use of colour, texture and graphite renderings, her paintings explore the interception of human experience with what is allusive and transcendent.
Sharon W. Huget lives in Abbotsford, BC Canada. She is involved in her community as an artist and educator. Her paintings are in private and public collections in Canada and Europe. She has exhibited at The Federation of Canadian Artists Gallery on Granville Island (Vancouver), Silk Gallery, Port Moody, and in numerous public gallery spaces in british Columbia. Sharon has been honoured four times to exhibit as part of the prestigious, biannual Fraser Valley Biennale exhibition at The Reach Gallery Museum. Her paintings have been showcased among other designers and artists at IDS Vancouver, Western Canada's premier interior design show. Through her art practice, she has supported the work of Abbotsford Hospice, The Reach Gallery Museum, Run for Water, Crystal Gala Foundation, Vancouver Union Gospel Mission and Canuck Place Children's Hospice Abbotsford.
